What is a COVE?
A Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) is a hub that brings together vocational training institutions, employers, and stakeholders to promote excellence in skills development. CoVEs ensure that VET programmes are relevant, innovative, and aligned with labour market needs, fostering regional economic growth and lifelong learning opportunities.”

The EQAVET 4.0 Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) comprises a diverse network of 22 partners from across Europe. Together, these institutions bring extensive experience and expertise in vocational education and training, innovation, and quality assurance.

Activities of the CoVE
The EQAVET 4.0 Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) carries out a range of activities aimed at improving the quality and relevance of vocational education and training across Europe. These include:
Competence-based Job Profiling
Designing new job profiles aligned with current and future labour market needs.
Innovative Learning Outcomes Assessment Tools
Developing digital tools to evaluate training effectiveness and measure learner progress.
International Mobility and Quality Frameworks
Promoting transparency and mobility within VET by aligning qualifications with European standards.
Pilot Testing of Digital Resources
Implementing and testing digital learning materials and methodologies to ensure their effectiveness and adaptability.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
Working closely with industries, VET institutions, and policymakers to co-create sustainable, high-quality VET solutions.
By fostering collaboration among its 22 partners, the EQAVET 4.0 CoVE aims to set a benchmark for excellence in vocational education, creating a more responsive, innovative, and inclusive VET ecosystem.
