EQAVET 4.0
Elevating VET Quality, Empowering Careers
About EQAVET 4.0
EQAVET 4.0 will enhance quality assurance in Vocational Education and Training (VET) by increasing the alignment between sectoral needs and occupational qualifications.
The mission can be divided into 5 operational objectives
- Develop a sectoral mapping system to align VET programs with labor market needs.
- Create job profiles that outline skills, qualifications, and competencies required for different professions.
- Design assessment tools to evaluate VET graduates' performance from the perspectives of employers, educators, and students.
- Promote internationalization and mobility in VET through enhanced qualification transparency.
- Strengthen collaboration between VET providers, industry stakeholders, and policymakers to improve outcome-oriented education.
EQAVET4.0 will take a clear and methodological approach to ensure all resources are developed with the target group’s needs in mind. Firstly, a comprehensive sectoral mapping will be conducted to assess labor market needs and identify key job profiles. This will be followed by collaboration and networking among project partners to develop innovative assessment methodologies and quality assurance tools for VET programs.
The project will also promote international mobility and qualification transparency, enabling learners and professionals to access better career opportunities across Europe.
Finally, an action plan for sustainability will be developed to ensure that the project’s outcomes continue to support VET excellence beyond its duration.
